Description

We can eat almonds raw or toasted as a snack or add them to sweet or savory dishes. They are also available sliced, flaked, slivered, as flour, oil, butter, or almond milk. People call almonds a nut, but they are seeds, rather than a true nut.

Almonds are a protein source that help stabilise blood-sugars, lower blood pressure, and also have antioxidant properties

Almonds are an excellent source of vitamin E, magnesium and manganese, and a good source of fiber, copper, phosphorous and riboflavin.
